Darwin’s trouble trying for people to believe him was very hard and he did tell anyone for 20 years he kept it to himself. Darwin told many people and they made fun of him and and drew things like him with a monkey or a app. They did things like this because he thought that God didn’t make us he thought over time things changed and we came from apps.

I am going to write 3 paragraphs about the things that I learned the past two days. Here is my science blog.
One thing that I learned about the film we watched was about natural selection. Natural selection is when the strongest and fastest animals survive and the slowest and weakest die off. Also I learned that there are still dinasours but today the have wings. And things that have wings we all refer to them as birds.
Another thing that I learned was when Dawrin was writting his book calles "The Orgin Of Spieceis, it took them a while to publish it but in the summer of 1889 Dawrin finished the last paragraph of his book and then it was finally published. His wife Emma and Darwin were cousins. But they didn't care because they loved eachother deeply. Darwin moved to the country with his wife and children because he felt as though he could keep his secret (his theory) and also he thought it was a great place to observe things. Every time Darwin dound out new info that info became a struggle.
His wife Emma belived that God created earth and this became a problem for Darwin. When he studied the barnicle he found out that they have the longest penis out of alot of fish.When Darwin got into deep work and studies there daughter was having tummy troubles. They found out that she was pregnant and something inside of her burst. And she was only 9. She soon died. When his daughter died he soon lost hope in God. Then he stoped beliving in him. When Darwin died people saw that his communication and work was remarkable. Without Dawrin we wouldn't know about this. He was truly a remarkable man.

Hello as you all now my name is Ameerah Sibert and this blog is going to be awesome. I am going to talk about a couple different topics that most of you now about or should now so sit back relax and read.
A little about Darwin’s history Charles Darwin is a very powerful hard working and smart person in my perspective. He was married and had 10 kids 3 survived back then he believed in the lord. He changed the world in only 1 way someone very intelligent like him could do. Once long ago the whole world had a mind set that Jesus Christ made the world but after his daughter soon died at 9 years of age he stopped believing in the lord. He always wanted to be a journalist but when he didn’t believe in Christ that is when his journey begun.

As we watched Charles Darwin’s Bio about him and evolution we took plenty of notes. The Bio was very interesting and we got a lot of information. Darwin was 22 years old when he set sail. When ever he got samples he would sort him out so they can be tested. He was a very smart man. Charles new the difference about Galapagos’s island apart from other islands. But in July he wrote a letter to his lovely wife Emma about what he was doing and that he didn’t believe in god but she did. The reason he didn’t believe in him because when his daughter died god didn’t save her so that’s when he stopped believing in god.His daughter was born on march 18,1941. Her name was Ann Elizabith Darwin.
Now about evolution and about Darwins book. Charles had a hard time publishing his book because alot of people were against him and didn't believe him. I guess they just didn't like him nor his book. After people read his book they started to say that he was just a big joke and they started to doubt him. People even made pictures of him, making fun of his book. Showing him and a monkey combined and talking very nasty things about him. That just wasnt right at all. He had a hard time telling everyone about evolution because of theit different religion belief's. Darwin kept all his idea's in a private notebook. He also knew that the fossils and fossil record was very important to evolution.
Now the last thing that i am going to talk about is The animals sex life. If you didnt know, animals do sex. Clams, dogs, cats, and others. But Barnicales have the largest penis. It's in their generation. When we were watching the movie about Charles Darwin we saw the female and male barnicales having sex. Yeah, It was very disturbing. Well, Thats my 3 paragraphs on evolution.
The film was about Charles Darwin and how he figued out one type of animal has many different species. He found out why by seeing that, all species have developed to a different adaptation. So each different specie has evolved to it's own state.
Another thing I learned was that he created the fossil record. The fossil record estimates the age of the animal and if it is linked to another. The film said that there were animals that swam in the water and and their fossils were found in layers of rocks way up from off the ground.
Last, but not least I learned that Darwin had ten children and three died. He got married to hs cousin. He studied his children as if they were animals. He then saw that his children made faces simliar to dogs. He became a beekeeper to show that honey combs are made by instant. He soon began studying barniles. But later his daughter died and he did not believe in God anymore. His wife was then sad that they would go to heaven together because, he did not believe in God. Well that is what I learned from the film.
J'mya Mason In class we watched a film about Mr. Charles Darwin and Im going to tell you guys what I learned. Charles Darwin did not believe in god but his wife did she said why don't he because if he don't and she do when they both die they are not going to be able to share there after life together. She said this because she might go to heaven and he might go to hell because he dont believe that god created the birds and all that. He been died over 100 years ago but nobody know's where he went except for god and I guess all of the people in heaven. I also , learned that he compared his kids to animals because animals can do some of the same stuff as humans for example they can mate with each oher eat walk and some of them can talk in there language. Alot of people didnt believe in evolution they believed in god created all of that stuff but then some of Darwins work started making sence how stuff conected. People started making front of his work and putting an ape and him next to each other. They did this because he think that we are ape's because apes can stand on there legs and have fingers like us. That Is one thing I don't believe and I will always believe in god and that he created earth but one day I would love to know how did all of this stuff happen. Another thing that I want to talk about was his book it took a long time to write it and it was very hard to publish because he had to make sure that everything in he book was true and spelled right. He did get it published and some people didnt like it but my point is that why would you go out and uy the book and then, talk all of this trash about it. Another thing is that his daughter died when she was 9 years old because she became pregnant. When Darwin thought about something he wrote in is journal about 11 pages about why and what happend he was a very hardworking man and a few people didnt believe in his work.

Charles Darwin is one of the main reasons we have learned about the evolution of life. He pointed out to many people that god didn’t just create every living, breathing and walking animal you see. There were more before our time and Darwin explained it all. He said that humans and apes have a similar ancestors between the two. He had a book called “The Origin of Species”. Darwin didn’t want conflict to occur once he published his book, so he spent twenty years making sure his hypothesis was correct or good enough to make sense. I’m sure during that time he did not want to publish the book and all it said what he believed in and why readers should agree. He wanted proof and facts that can support his book.
Over time before the animals we all see today there were more. Animals and humans have evolved to be able to survive. For example finches have all different kinds of beaks used for getting food. Now whichever finches beak gets the most and best food than they will survive and all the rest will die out. You may see whales today and say whales can’t walk like other animals. That may be true but whales ancestors could walk on land like humans. It was found that a whale has a hip bone but it doesn’t need one because a whale doesn’t walk. That proves that animals and humans have traits from past organisms. Animals come from a past specie that couldn’t survive so they tried to do something different to survive…
In addition to species having ancestors there is something called natural selection. Breeders pick out the best animals and use them to get offspring that can cost a lot of money. Regular horses can’t escape predators such as wolves so it might try to run faster. Then when it has offspring those horses will be faster and will out run wolves. Then the breeders will make fast horses mate with other fast horses to have more fast baby horses. The next step to that is they will sell the horses for a lot of money and then the new horses owner will always have a fast horse who won’t get attacked. In conclusion to that description this is called adaptations when species have a better offspring to survive and selective breeding for people to get a lot of money for a perfect animal.
Also for paragraph one his readers didn't support his theory they made un of him. They drew his body with a monkeys head to say "so that's how old humans use to look". Great job everyone!
From the film we watched about Darwin give me a lot of information about Darwin some of the information the film gave me are: That he struggled with his information, He stopped believing in god when his daughter died, his wife’s name is Emma, He had 10 kids and 3 of them died he set seal at the age 22, he sent a years putting his work for his book called On Origins of Species by Means of Natural Selection in detail and he drew sketches of his ideas then in 1859 his book was published.
He struggled with his information because he had a hard time telling people about evolution because of people different believes, he didn’t know if he information was correct or incorrect, and more.
More information that I learned from the film is that he found how one specie become another, there is animal alive today that is half bird and half reptile and they found another on that is alive today that is half reptile and half mammal, and at the Natural history museum they put Darwin’s status in the main half for his 200th birthday. That is some of the information I learned about the film we watched about Darwin.
What I learned from the Charles Darwin film was that he was very interested in animals and how the earth came to be. But he did not think it was God who created everything he thought it was something else something bigger. So he went on a voyage to figure out. While he was there he collected specimens of animals and plants.
Charles Darwin was not a believer when it came to church. He thought that it was evolution that made us today. But his wife believed in God and that he created everything. In addition to her husband not being a believer she thought that he would not go to heaven as she would. But then tragedy struck and their oldest child died he stopped believing in God.
What I learned about evolution is that all animals and different spices came from ancestors and evolved over time into the animals we have today. Something else I learned is that people in a specific museum put Darwin in the front of the museum because it was his 200th birthday and because of all the discoveries he made. That is what I learned from the Charles Darwin film.
There was more to evolution than anyone had thought but luckly Darwin started studying it.His full name is Charles Darwin and he went from place to place and took lots of notes about the stuff he had found.He collected animal samples.He didn't think god made earth he thought that earth started with dirt and things changed animals were made and nature was made.

When Emma was on her fifth child the first death from her children accured. Then when she was having a nineth chiild the fith child named Ann Elizebeth Darwin who brong joy to the died. After she died Carles Darwin no longer belied in God. Emma worried that they would not be together in after life.

He then saw that his children made faces simliar to dogs. He became a beekeeper to show that honey combs are made by instant. He soon began studying barniles. But later his daughter died and he did not believe in God anymore. His wife was then sad that they would go to heaven together because, he did not believe in God. Well that is what I learned from the film.

ReplyDeleteIn class we watched a film about Mr. Charles Darwin and Im going to tell you guys what I learned. Charles Darwin did not believe in god but his wife did she said why don't he because if he don't and she do when they both die they are not going to be able to share there after life together. She said this because she might go to heaven and he might go to hell because he dont believe that god created the birds and all that. He been died over 100 years ago but nobody know's where he went except for god and I guess all of the people in heaven. I also , learned that he compared his kids to animals because animals can do some of the same stuff as humans for example they can mate with each oher eat walk and some of them can talk in there language. Alot of people didnt believe in evolution they believed in god created all of that stuff but then some of Darwins work started making sence how stuff conected. People started making front of his work and putting an ape and him next to each other. They did this because he think that we are ape's because apes can stand on there legs and have fingers like us. That Is one thing I don't believe and I will always believe in god and that he created earth but one day I would love to know how did all of this stuff happen. Another thing that I want to talk about was his book it took a long time to write it and it was very hard to publish because he had to make sure that everything in he book was true and spelled right. He did get it published and some people didnt like it but my point is that why would you go out and uy the book and then, talk all of this trash about it. Another thing is that his daughter died when she was 9 years old because she became pregnant. When Darwin thought about something he wrote in is journal about 11 pages about why and what happend he was a very hardworking man and a few people didnt believe in his work.

ReplyDeleteIn Evolution animals change when their habit changes. We all came from one animal. One of our main ancestors is the monkey. Another theory is that life began in water.
Charles had a hard time after publishing his book because alot of people didn't believe him. After people read his book they said things about him and his book. Darwin kept all his idea's in a private notebook. He also knew that the fossils and fossil record was very important to evolution.
That is my three paragraphs and everybody's that i read was great.
Charles Darwin is one of the main reasons we have learned about the evolution of life. He pointed out to many people that god didn’t just create every living, breathing and walking animal you see. There were more before our time and Darwin explained it all. He said that humans and apes have a similar ancestors between the two. He had a book called “The Origin of Species”. Darwin didn’t want conflict to occur once he published his book, so he spent twenty years making sure his hypothesis was correct or good enough to make sense. I’m sure during that time he did not want to publish the book and all it said what he believed in and why readers should agree. He wanted proof and facts that can support his book.
ReplyDeleteOver time before the animals we all see today there were more. Animals and humans have evolved to be able to survive. For example finches have all different kinds of beaks used for getting food. Now whichever finches beak gets the most and best food than they will survive and all the rest will die out. You may see whales today and say whales can’t walk like other animals. That may be true but whales ancestors could walk on land like humans. It was found that a whale has a hip bone but it doesn’t need one because a whale doesn’t walk. That proves that animals and humans have traits from past organisms. Animals come from a past specie that couldn’t survive so they tried to do something different to survive…
In addition to species having ancestors there is something called natural selection. Breeders pick out the best animals and use them to get offspring that can cost a lot of money. Regular horses can’t escape predators such as wolves so it might try to run faster. Then when it has offspring those horses will be faster and will out run wolves. Then the breeders will make fast horses mate with other fast horses to have more fast baby horses. The next step to that is they will sell the horses for a lot of money and then the new horses owner will always have a fast horse who won’t get attacked. In conclusion to that description this is called adaptations when species have a better offspring to survive and selective breeding for people to get a lot of money for a perfect animal.
Also for paragraph one his readers didn't support his theory they made un of him. They drew his body with a monkeys head to say "so that's how old humans use to look". Great job everyone!

Charles Darwin
From the film we watched about Darwin give me a lot of information about Darwin some of the information the film gave me are: That he struggled with his information, He stopped believing in god when his daughter died, his wife’s name is Emma, He had 10 kids and 3 of them died he set seal at the age 22, he sent a years putting his work for his book called On Origins of Species by Means of Natural Selection in detail and he drew sketches of his ideas then in 1859 his book was published.
He struggled with his information because he had a hard time telling people about evolution because of people different believes, he didn’t know if he information was correct or incorrect, and more.
More information that I learned from the film is that he found how one specie become another, there is animal alive today that is half bird and half reptile and they found another on that is alive today that is half reptile and half mammal, and at the Natural history museum they put Darwin’s status in the main half for his 200th birthday. That is some of the information I learned about the film we watched about Darwin.
What I learned from the Charles Darwin film was that he was very interested in animals and how the earth came to be. But he did not think it was God who created everything he thought it was something else something bigger. So he went on a voyage to figure out. While he was there he collected specimens of animals and plants.
ReplyDeleteCharles Darwin was not a believer when it came to church. He thought that it was evolution that made us today. But his wife believed in God and that he created everything. In addition to her husband not being a believer she thought that he would not go to heaven as she would. But then tragedy struck and their oldest child died he stopped believing in God.
What I learned about evolution is that all animals and different spices came from ancestors and evolved over time into the animals we have today. Something else I learned is that people in a specific museum put Darwin in the front of the museum because it was his 200th birthday and because of all the discoveries he made. That is what I learned from the Charles Darwin film.
There was more to evolution than anyone had thought but luckly Darwin started studying it.His full name is Charles Darwin and he went from place to place and took lots of notes about the stuff he had found.He collected animal samples.He didn't think god made earth he thought that earth started with dirt and things changed animals were made and nature was made.
ReplyDeleteHe was scared to publish his book and he only told his best friend and his wife Emma.Emma was scared that she would not be able to be with Darwin in the after life.Eventually Darwin discovered that all animals are related in some way.He made a path so were he could think of the things he discovered.
Darwin tried to publish his book but lots of people disagreed with it.But finnaly he had his book published it was called the origin of species.His daughter died and Darwin didn't believe in god anymore.

Darwin was a useful man He spent most of his time trying to find out about evolution and why did it accure. Here in my three paragraphs are facts about Darwin.
Charles Darwin was a person who wanted to find out about evolutionto know why it accured. So what he id was take a 5 year trip around the world to get information about evolution and who old the earth really was. So as he takes his trip around the world he stopped at the Galpagous Islands. what he had found out was that all of the finachs looked the same but had different adaption. Then he wounder how they look like the ones in Equdor.
When Darwin came back from his trip he thought for 20 years about his notes. Then when he finally got everything he wrote a book. His book sold out really quickly. Then after evrybody read his book nobody liked it. They didn't like it because they all belieived that god had creater them and we didn't come from another animal. They made really bad comments and hurt darwins Feelings. But some people did beleive that we came from another animal.
Darwin had a wife named Emma Darwin the reason why she doesnt have a mating name becasue she married her cousin. They had 10 children together and 3 of them died. When Emma was on her fifth child the first death from her children accured. Then when she was having a nineth chiild the fith child named Ann Elizebeth Darwin who brong joy to the died. After she died Carles Darwin no longer belied in God. Emma worried that they would not be together in after life.
Darwin's Theory of Evolution is the widely held notion that all life is related and has descended from a common ancestor: the birds and the bananas, the fishes and the flowers -- all related. Darwin's general theory presumes the development of life from non-life and stresses a purely naturalistic (undirected) "descent with modification". That is, complex creatures evolve from more simplistic ancestors naturally over time. In a nutshell, as random genetic mutations occur within an organism's genetic code, the beneficial mutations are preserved because they aid survival -- a process known as "natural selection." These beneficial mutations are passed on to the next generation. Over time, beneficial mutations accumulate and the result is an entirely different organism While Darwin's Theory of Evolution is a relatively young archetype, the evolutionary worldview itself is as old as antiquity. Ancient Greek philosophers such as Anaximander postulated the development of life from non-life and the evolutionary descent of man from animal. Charles Darwin simply brought something new to the old philosophy -- a plausible mechanism called "natural selection." Natural selection acts to preserve and accumulate minor advantageous genetic mutations.

I lerned about darwin's theroy of evolution.Also about how there were other people that had the same threoy as darwin just didnt have the evidence to back it up like darwin.I also learned that darwin belived in God but didnt go to church because he didnt want to face the critisisum.
ReplyDeleteHere are some other things i learned. One thing I learned was that arnicals have the longest penis. So lond that it can reach a female barnicale 4 or 5 barnicals away. Something else i learned was that scientist belevie that the eye has evouled over time.
I also learned there is a big wall that people work at.Ans thy would pull layers off and would sometimes find fossils.Those are all the things I learned from the film watched with th class.
