Friday's Journal

Hello 6th Grade!

I wanted to try something new for our journal. Since so many of you want to share your journal writing with others, I figured we should put it on the blog! Here is your journal assignment:

Pretend you have just been asked to cook lunch for the entire school. Describe what you would make for everyone, how you would get the ingredients needed, who would help you, and how you would get this huge task completed in time for 12:15! (3 Paragraphs).

Then, make sure you write an interesting comment on someone else's journal.

Have a wonderful Friday!

What's Fair and What's Not?

Hello Literature Students!

Our theme for Unit 3 is "What's Fair and What's Not?" Follow the directions below for our Unit Warm-Up activity.

Think of a time when you or someone else said, "That's not fair!" Write about the experience in the blog. Include where and when the situation took place, who was involved, and what wasn't fair.

When you are finished posting your blog. Share you opinions about what someone else has written.

I can't wait to read them!

What Brings Out the Best in You?

Sixth Graders,

Please post the final drafts of your articles on this blog. You have all worked so hard interviewing, pre-writing, working on rough drafts, and on your final draft. So, please be careful when typing. Have a great day!
