Our theme for Unit 3 is "What's Fair and What's Not?" Follow the directions below for our Unit Warm-Up activity.
Think of a time when you or someone else said, "That's not fair!" Write about the experience in the blog. Include where and when the situation took place, who was involved, and what wasn't fair.
When you are finished posting your blog. Share you opinions about what someone else has written.

One time my friend said that's not fair. He said that because I told him he has to watch me and his brother play the game so that we can teach him how to play.So he got mad and said that's not fair. We were at the park playing baseball, because he just tured 9. we promised him we were going to teach him for his 9th birthday. when we showed him everything we tested him to see if he was paying attention. Finally he's now able to play with us when we play baseball.

ReplyDeleteI once said "That's not fair" to my mom, because she didn't let get something. I asked her can I get 500 for Christmas. She said no, so I said it was not fair because the year before that she gave my brother 700 for Christmas so I was upset. In conclusion, she made me compromise so now I'm only getting 300 and I'm still very upset about it.

ReplyDeleteOne time i was at school and i really had to used the restroom and my mom said if i had to use the bathroom then walk out the room. I don't really like to use public or nasty bathroom's and not at that nasty school. This was at my old school so i was sitting in class and i had to use the bathroom i asked the teacher she said no. Next, the other TO BE CONTINUED...(MY BAT. IS ABOUT TO DIE)
Here is a time when I said thats not fair.I said that because my brother hit me with a pillow and told my mom I hit him with the pillow.But when he came down stairs he was fake crying and saying I kept hitting him over and over again.My mom said I could not get on the computer for an hour and thats when I said thats not fair.All that people involved was my mom me and little brother.But the good that came out of it is that my mom never keeps a grudge and let me get on the computer at least 5 minutes later.That was a time when I said thats not fair.

ReplyDeleteA time when i said something wasnt fair was when my mom wouldnt let me go to the mall with my friends because we were having a party for my cousin's birthday. But my mom said that i could go before the party and get back 2 hours after it started. She changed her mind on the day i was suppose to go to the mall. I was so mad and i told her it wasnt fair. But she felt bad about it and she let me go!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOne time I remeber I was at home one day and my mom told me that she was going to the store to go grociery shopping so then I stayed home and I was waiting for my mom to come home because she usually brings snacks home when shes shopping. When she came home she unloaded the bags and called my little brother AJ in the kitchen and he came out with a bag of chips. She didn't bring me home anything. Then Yelled THAT IS SO NOT FAIR. And then I ran upstairs in my room. Soon she gave me my bag of chips and she said she never ever forgot about me.
ReplyDeleteOne time my mom said that I had to walk the dog even though I just did. I said " That's not fair.". So I had to walk the dog again. And I missed my favorite show. Also that was not recorded. That got me really mad.
ReplyDeleteThe time something was not fair was when I had to clean up my sister's room and my room by myself. I thought it was unfair because I had to clean up the whole entire room by myself without any help. I was really mad because I ask my lazy sister to help me clean it up because everything was mainly her things but she said no because she didn't do it. So then I told my mom but she said that I asked you and it's your room. I wanted to say something like but it's Sade's room to and I was not about to clean up a room that I did not mess up but, I did not say anything and I just cleaned it up the room in anger.
ReplyDeleteOne time I had wanted my own laptop. One day I was in my room thinking about what I was going to wear outside. I looked downstairs and I saw my sister Moemina getting a laptop for her birthday. I was shocked becaused my mom heard my saying I wanted a laptop for my birthday. I was so mad that I shouted out" That's not fair, you're always getting them stuff but not me." That is the time when I didnt get a laptop for my birthday and I said it wasn't fair.

ReplyDeleteA time someone ''That's not fair'' is when my brother and I won in a basketball game. We beat our friends Thomas and Tauge seven times in a row. Then they said we cheated because they were upset. So they stopped playing with us. This wasn't a situation where we weren't fair but it was a time when someone said that's not fair.
ReplyDeleteOne time I said that's not fair. I said that because, one day it was my sister's turn to was the dishes. My dad said I had to help her. I thougt that was unfair. She hadn't wash dishes for a while, although I hadn't wash dishes either, I didn't want to help her. I had no choice though. That was one time I said that's not fair.

ReplyDeleteOne time last year on september 18 my new born baby sister was born. It was the first day of her life being out of the hospitable . When her and my mom got home she let my two older brothers hold her. I asked can I hold my mther said (NO) I said that is not fear. I said that because my brothers can hold her but I cant so after that I just never played with her or pay any atention to her but laterin life I found out I couldnt hold her because i was still to young but now i see that it was fair

So me and my friend where talking he wanted to talk with us too his sister said no he did not listen.Then my friend got really mad and started to talked bad about her brother .He got mad and started to cry and said it's not fair.
ReplyDeleteHere is the time of when I said something is unfair. Well this is what had happend.Me my mom and my dad were in the store and I asked my mom if I can get a container of water-ice. Of course my mom said no to me. But when my brother called my mom and asked if we can pick him up some ice-cream then guess what. She said yes and brought it. Then my dad said "well how can you buy my brother something but you cant buy Kianna anything. In conclusion this is the time when I thought something was unfair.

ReplyDeleteI liked Timothy's paragraph because it was all about him just trying to show his friend how to play and his friend gets mad for no reason. I also liked it because it sounds as if his friend was a little brother.

ReplyDeleteA time when something that was not fair happend to me was when my mom went out to the store and said that my brother and i had to finish our chors before she came home.
ReplyDeleteI got started as soon as she left ,but my brother sat on the coach to watch this stupid show called "Bay Blade".I told him to get started or else he will get in troble when she comes home.He ignored me,so i just finished my chors.
When my mom walked in i was finished.He new my brother was not finished so she told me to help him.I told her every thing he did which was "nothing"!
It turnes out that i was in charge of him sence im older.I got in troble and had to help him.That was a time that was unfair.

ReplyDeleteboy asked her can he use the bathroom and she said yes then i went to her desk and said that's not fair and then she said well after that i was done and walked out the room called my mom and she said im on my way. My mom was at my school in 5 minuates then she went to the principle and he said okay i will handle it because i could have got my blatter messed up time passed time passed she did not say sorry not me either so then i just never went to the restroom because it was nasty. Finally whenshe said class was over she said it i was surprised i still did not like her.
